Description
The vertical stone mill for bentonite is a kind of mechanical equipment specially used for fine grinding of bentonite. It adopts a vertical structure design and is suitable for efficient crushing, grinding and classification of bentonite.
1. Equipment Structure
Vertical structure:
The main shaft is arranged vertically, and the grinding disc rotates horizontally, featuring a small footprint and compact structure.
Grinding components:
Composed of a grinding disc (static disc) and grinding rollers (dynamic discs), which crush materials through pressure and shearing force.
Classification system:
Equipped with a built-in or external classifier to realize instant separation of coarse and fine particles, ensuring uniform fineness of finished products.
2. Working principle:
The electric motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through a reducer, and the material falls into the center of the grinding disc from the feeding port. At the same time, hot air enters the grinding chamber from the air inlet. Under the action of centrifugal force, the material moves towards the edge of the grinding disc and is crushed by the grinding roller when passing through the circular groove on the grinding disc. The crushed material is carried up by the high-speed airflow at the edge of the grinding disc, and large particles directly fall onto the grinding disc for re grinding. When the material in the airflow passes through the dynamic and static separator, under the action of the rotating rotor, the coarse powder falls onto the grinding disc for re grinding, and qualified fine powder is discharged with the airflow, Collect in the powder collection device, which is the product. Materials containing moisture are dried during contact with hot gases to achieve the required product moisture.

6. Bentonite Pulverizer Vertical Mill Selection suggestions
Raw material characteristics: Sodium based bentonite (soft) can be selected with low-pressure grinding rollers, while calcium based bentonite (hard) requires high-pressure machines.
Fineness requirement:
Coarse powder (20-200 mesh): choose vertical mill+dynamic classifier.
